These High Top Under Armour Charge Shoes Look Like They’re from the Future

Though they’re not exactly like the Nike Air Mag—the glorious Back to the Future shoes—these Under Armour Charge BB Basketball Shoes are so comically high top that they feel like they’re from the same future. I like it.

The UA Charge promises the support of a high top with the feel of a low top. The upper is made of two-pieces to “articulate” around your ankle to keep it secure while the entire shoe uses sweat-wicking materials to keep your foot cool, dry and hopefully stinkfree. Inside the shoe are foam pods, Micro G foam cushions, TPU shanks and Micro G sockliners—all purposefully placed to prevent twists and rolls and add cushion and comfort. It’s a basketball shoe that looks like it’s from the year 2050.

Game Of Thrones Houses Themed Converse All Stars

This is a series of House of Throne houses themed Converse All Stars hi-tops for sale from Etsy Seller Tannim. Tannim doesn’t actually paint them or stitch them though, Converse does it all. Tannim just DESIGNED them using Converse’s design your own shoe program or whatever. $115 gets you a pair. Growing a pair? Drinking paint thinner and bare-knuckle boxing a bear will grow you a pair.

Hit the jump for six other houses’ shoes and a bonus TARDIS pair because why the hell not, that’s why.

GPS Enables Shoes Light The Way To Your Destination

This is a pair of GPS enabled shoes that light the way to your predetermined destination. The toe of the left shoe lights up which direction you need to head in, and the right toe what percentage of your journey is left. They were created by Dominic Wilcox, who calls them No Place Like Home. That’s a Wizard of Oz reference. Plus you have to tap the heels together to turn them on. That makes TWO Wizard of Oz references! Can we make it three? “If you only had a brain.” WHAT THE F*** IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?

Hit the jump for several more shots and a video demonstration.

Adidas pulls “shackle shoe” design

“The attempt to commercialize and make popular more than 200 years of human degradation, where blacks were considered three-fifths human by our Constitution is offensive, appalling and insensitive,” the Rev. Jesse Jackson said in a statement Monday…

The man behind the design responded days after the controversy broke. Jeremy Scott said it was never his intention to provoke that kind of response. His design, he said on Twitter, was inspired by a childhood toy.

Zombiebacons: Here is the first line of the Reebok X Marvel collaboration that I designed. I’ve been working with kids footwear to create Spider-Man licensed shoes for a few years now, and finally, we can get some adult sizes for us grown-up nerds (and nerd-ettes)! The sneakers drop this summer at specific retailers, read more info hereherehere and here. The first lineup is Captain America, Red Skull, Spider-Man, Venom, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Deadpool, Chamber, Black Widow and Emma Frost.

Would you buy a pair of these to wear around? What’s your favorite design? I have to go with Captain America.
